The working record
A history made for documents, not developers.
You shouldn’t need Git commands—or a storage subscription—to answer a simple question: what happened to this file?
- 01
Watch the folder you already use
Keep Word, OpenDocument, PDF, and text files where they are. The app only reads originals and saves content-addressed snapshots in its private local archive.
- 02
Read the change sheet
Choose any date to compare extracted paragraphs and table cells. Additions are underlined; removals are struck through, like familiar proof marks.
- 03
Restore without a leap of faith
Before restoring, the current file gets one last safety snapshot. Then the exact earlier bytes—not a converted copy—return to their original path.
Payment is due within thirty forty-five days of receipt. The review begins on Monday Wednesday.
Meaning before machinery
See the sentence,
not just the timestamp.
DOCX and ODT paragraphs and tables become a readable proof. Text-based PDFs get the same treatment. If a file is encrypted, proprietary, or image-only, the app says so plainly—and still keeps the exact snapshot safe.
- Automatic capture while the app runs
- SHA-256 content-addressed storage
- Visible warnings for unsupported previews
- No OCR, conversion uploads, or hidden sync
